These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PumpFragen mobile application and website (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

PumpFragen is a study tool for medical students, residents, and healthcare professionals. It provides a community question bank of clinical "pimp questions," flashcard decks, and study features.

2. Not Medical Advice

The Service is for educational and study purposes only. Content in the question bank — including questions, answers, and ratings — is contributed by users and is not medical advice. It should never be used as a substitute for professional clinical judgment, institutional protocols, or authoritative medical references. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any content.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

4. User Content

You may contribute questions and other content to the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content within the Service. You represent that you have the right to submit the content and that it does not infringe the rights of others or contain patient-identifiable information. Never include protected health information (PHI) or any patient-identifiable details in submitted content.

We may remove content that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe is inaccurate, harmful, or inappropriate.

5. Acceptable Use

• Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
• Do not scrape, copy, or redistribute the question bank in bulk
• Do not upload unlawful, harassing, or infringing content
• Do not interfere with the operation or security of the Service

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features may be offered through paid subscriptions processed via Apple's App Store. Billing, renewals, and cancellations are managed through your Apple account settings and are subject to Apple's terms. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, branding, and software, is owned by PumpFragen and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use the PumpFragen name or logos.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service or request account deletion at any time by contacting support@pumpfragen.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PumpFragen shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any clinical or academic decisions made in reliance on content in the Service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and revise the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
